- Neve Campbell, who was Sydney Prescott in
SCREAM 2, is Joanna, a journalist, in 6 of the 12 episodes of
TITANIC:BLOOD AND STEEL, which
aired beginning 15 April in Ireland and Denmark to coincide with the Titanic's maiden voyage. The miniseries also starred
Alessandra Mastronardi and Derek Jacobi. It does
not as yet have US distribution. Campbell will also star along with
Simone Kessell (Miss Messini in one
episode of Xena:Warrior Princess) in the 2012 film SINGULARITY, a reincarnation tale set in the near future.

Charisma Carpenter starred in
a made-for-TV film DEADLY SIBLING RIVALRY that aired in August on Lifetime, in which she plays identical twins Janna and Callie.
Janna gets married and has a daughter while Callie can't keep a job and getting tangled in illegal dealings. After
a car crash puts Janna in a coma, Callie steals her sister's identity in order to get a fresh start in life.

- Lee Pace (Roman in POSSESSION), will be Garrett in
both parts of the next installment of the Twilight Saga BREAKING DAWN. Also he will be Thranduil in the next
two HOBBIT films from Peter Jackson.

James Gunn (the screenwriter, not the science fiction
writer), who wrote both Scooby-Doo films, also wrote and
directed the new Ellen Page film SUPER (available on DVD 9 August). Page plays Libby, who wants to be the
sidekick of superhero The Crimson Bolt (Rainn Wilson), who took up crimefighting after his wife left him
for a drug dealer.
- Kate Beahan, who was
Michelle in THE RETURN
with Sarah Michelle Gellar, is Leslie in the film
BURNING MAN, which also stars Matthew Goode,
Bojana Novakovic, and Essie Davis.
It's about a British chef trying to restore his relationship with his son.
Simone Kessell (see Xena:Warrior Princess episode 35) also has a minor role as a teacher.

Patrick Muldoon and Brad Rowe are a pair of grooms getting married by a lesbian minister Soleil Moon
Frye, with whom Gellar did GIRL TALK. in FOR BETTER OR WORSE, a new film by a director I've never
heard of (Joshua Turnick). The film will also star Janeane Garofalo (General Teena MacArthur in Southland Tales), and Rebecca Gayheart (Kelly Morgan in Harvard Man). Ruta Lee
also has a role in this one. Ruta got her start playing a teenager on THE ADVENTURES OF SUPERMAN with
George Reeves in 1953.
- A new film by Asif Kapadia, SENNA, was released in the UK
in 2011 and thus far has grossed about £3 million. The film is a documentary about the life of three time
world champion Formula One race driver Ayrton Senna who died in a 1994 crash. Kapadia directed Sarah Michelle Gellar
in THE RETURN in 2006.
- Jill Eikenberry, who was Brett Eisemberg's mother in
SUBURBAN GIRL,
is now Dex's mom in SOMETHING BORROWED,
a film based on New York author Emily Griffin's first book.
The film stars Kate Hudson,
Ginnifer Goodwin, and
Colin Egglesfield.

- Anne Heche,
who was in I KNOW WHAT YOU DID LAST
SUMMER, stars in RAMPART, directed by Oren Moverman. The film also stars Steve Buscemi (who was Captain-of-the-Guard
in one episode of CROSSBOW
in 1988), Sigourney Weaver, Robin Wright, Woody Harrelson,
Ice Cube, and Cynthia Nixon. The film deals with widespread corruption in the LAPD in the 1990's. Heche is also
Jessica Haxon in the HBO series HUNG.
- RENEE O'CONNOR VIDEO CHANNEL
has in its archives an interview with Canadian actor Tara
Samuel. Samuel was a waitress in HARVARD MAN
with Sarah Michelle Gellar. Samuel has an unspecified part in THE YELLOW WALLPAPER, a film starring
Juliet Landau (Drucilla on BTVS) based on
Charlotte Perkins Gillman's short story of the same
name.
- Nadia Dajani, who was Christina Onassis in A Woman Named Jackie with Sarah Michelle Gellar, is in 3 episodes of
THE BIG C, starring
Laura Linney, on Showtime.
Her character's name is Tina. And Phyllis Somerville, who was Ruth in
Simply Irresistible, played
Marlene in 9 episodes of THE BIG C.
