Gellar was a flower girl at the wedding of Kurt Corday & Mindy Sue Lewis. The wedding storyline aired from 8 November to 15 November 1985.
Mindy (the bride) was played by Krista Tesreau. The actor playing Brad was Mark Lewis. Lewis married Mary Ellen Stuart in real life in 1988. They adopted a baby from China in 1999 and in 2005 were working together in the Theater Department at Wheaton College in Wheaton, Illinois. Krista Tesreau made regular appearances on THE GUIDING LIGHT as Mindy Lewis until the show was cancelled in 2009.
