Lives at 9000 Easy Street, Coolsville Ohio. There actually is a Coolville, Ohio (no S in the middle) but it is located in a somewhat remote area near the West Virginia border.
Daphne seems to enjoy danger. She is somewhat vain, (she hates it when fog ruins her hair), very good with a camera (always has one handy), and she can also fly a helicoptor. A good student, she aspires to writing mystery novels. The Blake family fortune was made by Daphne's father with a product called Blakes Bubbles. Their mansion includes a zoo, horse stables and an outdoor pool with a marble top that converts into a dance floor.
Relatives include her parents George and Elizabeth Blake, Uncle Matt, John Maxwell, Aunt Olivia Derby, Cousin Jennifer, Jenkins the butler, and a nameless uncle who directs films.
The Scooby Gang includes: Fred Jones, Velma Dinkley, Norville Rogers, and ScoobyDoo. (And is also a reference to Buffy the Vampire Slayer and her sidekicks in BTVS.)
SCOOBY-DOO (2002) AND SCOOBY-DOO 2 MONSTERS UNLEASHED (2004) differ a bit from the original Hanna Barbera cartoons, but that is to be expected from live-action. The second film brought back some of the monsters from the TV series, such as the Black Knight, the 10,000 Volt Ghost, and Chickenstein, so there is some continuity. I have seen very few of the cartoons, and have little basis for comparison. The films stand well on their own. Just why Gellar needs to wear lavender all the time I am not sure.

Gellar as Daphne wore lavender leather Go-Go style boots. Supposedly she hated wearing them during filming, but she pulled off the style nicely. Gellar's shoe size is a 6.5 US. The booots had about a four inch heel with a half-inch platform, which is tough to pull off during action scenes. If you look at a few of the action scenes in the movie, she is wearing flat lavender boots. These boots are a common Go-Go style and have been popular since the 60s.
The first Scooby-Doo film played in 3,447 theatres in the US and grossed $153,294,164. The second Scooby film played in 3,312 US theatres and "only" grossed $84,216,833. The combined international gross for the two films was $457,479,551.
